Offering a flexible 3-day, 4-day and 5-day program!

Carondelet offers a full-day pre-kindergarten program for children who have turned four by September 1st and are kindergarten-eligible the following year (must have turned 3 years old by September 1st for the 3-year old classrom). Our Pre-K program is located at our Lower Campus.  We offer a 3-day, 4-day and 5-day program.

Teaching Philosophy: Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in a play-based program that fosters each child’s intellectual, creative, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual moral development. We provide a nurturing environment that allows each child to learn by doing, using curriculum that responds to the children’s needs, growth and interests. Children experience child-directed and teacher-guided activities, as well as the opportunity to work individually, in small groups, and in large groups. Our program gives each child the opportunity to develop into a happy, conscientious, confident learner who is prepared for success both in school and in life.

The Carondelet curriculum is based on a love of God, love for one another, and an atmosphere of peace and kindness. Faith is part of the program with each day starting with morning prayer. Pre-K students also have the opportunity to attend monthly Lower Campus prayer services.

Typical Day: In any given day your child will have the opportunity to explore art, music, language, science, technology, engineering and math. We will have indoor and outdoor free and organized play. Our day begins with free play, giving the children the opportunity to connect with each other. We have a morning prayer and a class meeting to talk about the calendar, weather, classroom responsibilities, and read a story based on our learning theme. Throughout the day there are various group time opportunities and opportunity for individual exploration based on our learning theme. Snack is offered in the morning and afternoon. Our day ends with free play and a meeting reviewing  what we have learned that day and what we would like to learn the next day.  A detailed schedule is posted in the classroom and is subject to change based on the needs of the children.

Days/Hours:  Monday-Friday (or Mon-Thurs for the 4-day option; Tues-Thurs for 3-day from 9:05 AM- 3:50 PM* with the exception of school-release days and holidays; September through May.  Students may start arriving as early as 9:00 AM. We also offer extended day between the hours of 7:30 AM-6 PM.
* (A 1/2 day option is also available).

Lunch: Carondelet offers a catered hot lunch program through Agra Culture Kitchen. Students have the option of ordering the school-provided lunch option (as many days as they’d like) or bring a home-packed meal. Skim and 2% milk is provided.

Extended Day: Students have the option of before and after school care through our Club Saint program. Club Saints hours are 7:30 AM-6 PM..

Dress-Code:  Pre-K students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes with a closed-toe and heel (preferably tennis shoes). Pre-K students do not need to follow the K-8 uniform policy.

Tuition: Tuition for the 2023-2043 school year is $7,000 for the 3-day program; $8.500 for 4-day; $10,500 for 5-day program. Tuition is billed in 10 monthly installments. Parishioner and sibling discounts do not apply to the Pre-K program.

Age Eligibility: Students must be four years old and completely toilet-trained by September 30, 2024 for the 4-year old program. (Must have turned 3 years old by September 1st for the 3 year old classroom).

Admissions Application: To apply for admission, please complete the admission application online and return the following to Carondelet's School's Office: * Application fee of $250 per family (good for all eligible students). Copy of your child’s birth certificate 

Admissions Deadline:  Applications are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year.
