Marathon Day of Service -  Friday, October 5th 

On Friday, October 5, Carondelet students, faculty and friends donated over 2,000 service hours to those in our surrounding community. Thank you to all those who pledged our students, offered donations, prayers, and/or time to make this year's Marathon Day of Service and Family Fun Night a success. 

As of today, we have raised over $75,000 towards are $80,000 pledge.

What is the 'Marathon Day of Service'? 

An annual tradition at Carondelet, our "Marathon Day of Service" is one of the school's largest fundraisers and community builders. 

This year, students will collect pledge donations for the Marathon Day of Service, held during the school day on Friday, October 5.

To celebrate our service, Carondelet faculty, families and friends are invited to join us back at the Lower Campus for a Family Fun Night (an evening of food, friends, and fun) from 5:30-8:00 PM on October 5.

9:30 AM-3:30 PM:  Students and faculty perform service projects at 
                                  various school-organized service sites. 

5:30-8:00 PM:        Families, faculty and friends join us back at the Lower 
                                  Campus for a Family Fun Night!

Giving Matters! The Carondelet Marathon Day of Service is one of three major fundraisers that contribute towards the school's operating budget. The money raised helps us keep tuition affordable, maintain small class sizes, and offer the highest level of academic excellence in a faith-based, nurturing environment. 

Pledges – in exchange for pledge donations, students gather for a school-organized Day of Service on October 5.  Grandparents, parents, friends and neighbors are your students best “prospects” when seeking pledges. And don’t forget matching gift money from your employer.

Prizes and Marathon T-shirts! Students who collect $100 in pledges will receive this year's Carondelet Day of Service t-shirt! The T-shirts can be worn on Fridays during month of September and October! T-shirts are distributed on Tuesdays. The sooner you reach $100 in pledges, the sooner you earn a T-shirt!

Pledges of $100+ earn the NEW Marathon T-shirt! 

Pledges of $300+ earn a pancake breakfast with Principal Kerr!

Pledges of $500+ earn a cool Spirit Wear item and a chance to win a GoPro camera, drone, or 6 Great Wolf Lodge waterpark passes!

The student who collects the most pledges : earns a cool Spirit Wear item and a class pizza party!

The class with 100% participation and highest pledge class average earns a fun class outing!

Don’t wait - pledge totals are due BEFORE the Marathon Day of Service, but actual money doesn’t need to be turned in until AFTER the Day of Service. You can also Donate Online Here>>

2018 Goals:

• Complete over 1,000 service hours on October 5 for community members near and far 

• Attract 50 Parent/Grandparent Volunteers

• Collect $80,000 in Pledges for Carondelet including 30 Corporate Matches
