PERSONAL INTERESTS:  Netflix binging, British TV, Korean Dramas, laughing a lot, hanging out with my husband (Eddie), three kids (Hannah, Samuel, and Jesse), 1 cat (Diego) and 1 dog (Luna), forcing my family to go on road trips (California, Seattle, Winnipeg), traveling, and wishing I liked to exercise more.
 
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT TEACHING:  Helping students realize how powerful their words and ideas are through writing, sharing the love of great literature, helping them build public speaking skills, and building relationships with middle school students at what can be a tough time in their lives.
