On September 25, Carondelet's 6th graders will head to
Camp St. Croix for a 3-day team-building retreat. The program is designed to promote and develop environmental awareness and responsibility through academic, social, community, and outdoor education experiences. The camp, just south of Hudson, Wisconsin, is an annual event for Carondelet 6th graders.
DEPARTURE TIME 9:00 AM Please be at the school by 8:45 AM on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The bus will depart shortly thereafter.
DAILY SCHEDULE Students and parent chaperones will be assigned to a study group upon arrival. Each group will also be assigned a camp counselor that will lead group activities.
The day starts with 8:00 AM breakfast, followed by a day of activities, group lunch and dinner.
Lights out are at 10 PM each night.
CABIN ASSIGNMENTS Students will be assigned a cabin upon arrival to camp. There will be two or more parent chaperones assigned to each cabin.
MEALS AT CAMP While you are at Camp St. Croix, you’ll eat delicious home-cooked meals three times a day. In addition, you’ll sometimes have snacks (provided) with your study group.
MONEY Students do not need to bring money to camp, unless they are interested in purchasing a souvenir. Camp St. Croix has T-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles and a few other logo items for sale.
MEDICINE Please store medicines in a labeled bag. Give all medicines/instructions to Ms. Maeser.

The following items MAY NOT be brought on the bus or to camp.
Cell phone, CD Players, iPods, iPads, MP3s (STUDENT IPADS SHOULD ALSO BE LEFT AT HOME)
Pocket Knives
TV’s, Radios, Handhelds
Computer Games
FOOD, GUM AND SNACKS No food, candy, gum or soft drinks are permitted on the bus or at Camp St. Croix, so please leave at home.
PICK-UP TIME We expect to arrive back to school around 2:00 PM on Friday, September 27. Parents should plan on picking up their student at this time.
