“Meet the Teacher” Conferences: To welcome students back to school, we will be offering 1-on-1 meetings with your child’s teacher on Thursday, August 25 and Monday, August 29. Conference times will be 30 minutes each for students in Prek-5th grade. Pre K will only have conferences on August 25th. Watch your email the week of August 15 with the sign-up link.
Pre-K Playdate in the Park: Incoming preschoolers and their siblings are invited to join us for a playdate on Tuesday, August 16 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Linden Hills Park. Students are encouraged to wear their green Carondelet t-shirts handed out at orientation. We'll have a few extra shirts on hand for those who registered late.

Middle School Parent Meeting: All 6th grade and transfer student parents are invited to attend a Middle School parent meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday, August 23 while your students are at the Middle School Meet Up.
School Supplies: View the school supply list here. Students are invited to bring their school supplies with them at the Back-to-School Open House.
School Hours: Please note the school hours for the 2022-2023 school year:
Upper Campus: 9:00 am-4:00 pm (doors open at 8:55 am); buses arrive at 4:25 pm
Lower Campus: 9:10 am-3:50 pm (doors open at 9:05 am); buses arrive at 4:20 pm

Busing Request: If you did not complete a transportation survey earlier this summer, please complete by Monday, August 1st regarding your family’s need for afternoon bussing. Submit your transportation request here. Please contact Broderick Johnson, Upper Campus Admin. Assistant, with questions.
Lunch Program/Orders (date change): Carondelet partners with Agra Culture for our school lunch meals and Papa John's for Pizza Fridays. The lunch program will begin after Labor Day on Tuesday, September 6. Students should bring a home-packed lunch the week of school. Milk will be provided. Please watch the August News Notes for the September lunch orders.
Annual Milk Cards: An annual milk card will be automatically billed to your family's school account at the rate of $40 per student. The annual card is good for one milk per day. If students would like additional milk, they can purchase a double card for $80. Families may opt out of the annual milk card program by emailing Julie Stoeger.
Uniform Policy: Carondelet’s uniform policy can be found on the school website. Most of our uniform apparel can be purchased at a store of your choice (Target, Lands' End, Old Navy, Educational Outfitters, etc.) while the CCS plaid skirts and jumpers are available exclusively at Educational Outfitters and Lands' End. Uniform Exchange: Carondelet will be hosting a uniform exchange during Back to School conferences on August 25 and August 29. Families can drop gently used uniforms or grab uniforms at no cost.
Tuition Payments (Now Using FACTS): Please note, Carondelet is now using EFT for tuition, technology fees and all other other incidentals including lunch fees, milk, band, field trips, etc. All families must complete enrollment and tuition agreements through the FACTS family portal. Families who pay tuition in full will still need to enter their financial information for incidental billing. Tuition and fees will be withdrawn on the 15th of each month. Student Medications: Carondelet is not permitted to give students any medication without written permission from the parent and written instructions from a licensed physician. This includes over the counter medicine. If your child must have medication administered during school hours, please obtain a consent form from the office and request a copy of the doctor’s orders from your child’s physician. All medication is to be sent to school in the original labeled bottle from the pharmacy or store and will be stored in the office.
Carondelet is excited to offer a variety of Clubs & Activities for the 2022-23 school year. We will post links to registration as they become available. Keep your eye on the News Notes for registration.
Club Saint Extended Day Program: Carondelet offers before and after school care at both campuses. Club Saint, located at the Lower Campus, provides recreational and creative activities in a safe and comfortable environment. At the Upper Campus we also have a quiet study option open before school and after school as well. To register, visit the Club Saint webpage.
Fall Sports Registration (for New Students): Carondelet offers fall soccer (boys and girls entering grades 5-8, and volleyball (girls entering grades 4-8 in fall of 2022). The fee is $125 for the season. Students new to Carondelet interested in registering should email Tony Subialka, CCS Athletic Director by August 1st. (The registration deadline for returning families was June 1st).
Band: Carondelet offers both a beginning and concert band program for students in grades 4-8. The cost is $25/child/month ($225 per student annually) for weekly band lessons, ensemble rehearsals and concerts. This fee does not include band lesson books, music stand or instrument lease/purchase. For more information or registration please contact Veronica Gunderson.
