Bonjour! Je m’appelle Catherine Villaume O’Neill, Madame Catherine aux eleves.
Would you like your first or second graderto experience the French language, in a fun atmosphere, through songs, dance, and everyday language?
The class will Thursday mornings. Class will start September 20th and December 13th will be the last class before Christmas break. There will be no class November 1st. It will be from 8:15-9:00 in the lower campus nursery. I am hoping that we can sing, chat and have fun with the French language. It will start as more of a conversational class, given the age, and we can tweak it as we grow together.
Grades: 1-8
Dates: Tues (UC 3-4)/ Wed (UC 6-8)/ Thursday (LC 1-2) during the weeks of September 18-December 11

Sewing club is offered for all grades! Students in lower campus sewing club will learn how to thread a needle, start and end a stitch, use the running stitch and whipstitch, and more skills based on readiness. Projects such as stuffies, drawstring bags, keychains, and winter hats make learning how to sew exciting. Students in upper campus sewing club learn basic skills if needed and also learn how to embroider their own designs with different embroidery stitches. The great thing about sewing club is that each session's instruction and projects are tailored to the individual students that sign up to ensure beginners and non-beginners are learning and engaged. Kristen is always open to project requests and if projects are repeated from a previous session, there is always a new alternative project for repeat students.
