There are approximately 438 students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

What is the class size?
The average classroom size at Carondelet is 20 students. There are 2-3 classrooms per grade.

How much is tuition?

Full day Kindergarten through Grade 8:

• $3,970 -- Parishioner of Christ the King or St. Thomas the Apostle
• $5,990 -- Non-parishioner

Half day Kindergarten:

• $2,380 -- Parishioner of Christ the King or St. Thomas the Apostle
• $3,590 -- Non-parishioner

A multi-student discount is given to parents of two or more children enrolled at CCS, with the discount increasing per child.

What is the admission process?
New family registration is held in February. Enrollment priorities are given in the following order: siblings; parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle or Christ the King; members of other Catholic parishes; all other applicants.

Do you have to be Catholic to attend Carondelet?
No. Carondelet is a Catholic school dedicated to providing a strong program that teaches and models Christian values. We offer a welcoming community to those of all faiths/belief systems.

Do you offer full-day and half-day kindergarten?
Yes. Kindergarten families are given the option of enrolling in a full-day or half-day program. Students who choose the half-day program will be integrated into the full-day classrooms and dismissed at 12:30 PM.

What are the school hours?
Classes begin on the Lower Campus
and on the Upper Campus at 9:55. Lower Campus dismissal is at 4:05 and 4:15 for the Upper Campus. The half-day Kindergartners gather at 9:55 and are dismissed at 12:30.

Do you offer before and after school care?
Yes. Club Saint is a before and after school program open to registered Carondelet students in Kindergarten through Grade 4. Club Saint is located on the Lower Campus.

Do you provide transportation?
Busing, within a designated area of Minneapolis, is provided through the Minneapolis Public Schools at no cost to residents in Minneapolis. Residents of other school districts are responsible for the transportation of their children.

Do you have a hot lunch program?
Carondelet does not offer a daily hot lunch program. Students have the option of ordering Subway sandwiches (served by parent volunteers) every Thursday and pizza every Monday.

What extracurricular activities are available?
Carondelet offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities including an intramural athletic program and a host of other organized clubs from Karate to Chess Club.

Is Carondelet accredited?
Yes. Carondelet Catholic School is recognized as an accredited Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and by the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA).
